How do NFC checkpoints work?
NFC tags are placed at strategic points around the hotel (doors, hallways, perimeter, etc.). The guard taps their mobile device on the tag to register they passed that point, recording the timestamp, location, and assigned guard.
What devices do guards need?
Any Android smartphone or tablet with NFC. No specialized hardware or proprietary devices are required. Guards use the Hoteligy app to log patrols, report incidents, and receive alerts.
Can it integrate with existing security cameras?
Yes. The system connects with IP cameras compatible with standard protocols (ONVIF/RTSP), allowing you to link incidents with video recordings for easier investigation.
Does it work offline?
Patrol and checkpoint logs are stored locally on the device if the connection is lost. Once restored, data syncs automatically with the central server.
